Under 7 and 8 are exhibition matches only with medals given to all players. £25 for 1 team or £40 for 2 teams. Please see the application for dates of each age group. On the day there will also be a crossbar challenge competition and penalty king competition.
Our first annual youth 7-a-side football tournament will take place on Sunday 7th June 2009. Apart from the actual football tournament there will be a number of other fun activities like penalty shoot-out, keepy-up challenge, as well as some other activities still to be decided. There will be a full range of catering facilities. We will be running 6 age groups: Under 7, 8 & 9 in the morning and Under 10, 11 & 12 in the afternoon. The morning tournaments will start at 10am and the afternoon tournaments at 2pm.
Sat 20th June 9.30 am-13.00 U8 and U14 Sat 20th June 13.45-17.00 U9 and U15 Sun 21st June 9.30-13.00 U10 and U12 Sun 21st June 13.45-17.00 U 11 and U13 U8s -10 s will be 7 a side with 2 subs (9 registered players) U 11- 15 s Will be 6 a side with 2 subs (8 registered players) Each team will have 5 games of 8 mins with top 2 teams from each group moving onto quarter finals, semi final and final.
General Format: Two Leagues of 5 teams playing 7-a-side with identical rules to the Mid Lancs Colts – FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE incl. Pie & Peas!!. Preliminary Round: First kick off time for preliminary games will be at 6.00PM with the last games being played at 8.00PM. All games will last 10mins (no half-time) Semi-Finals: The winners of each respective league will play the runners up of the opposite league. Kick off times 8.20PM, games will last 12mins (no half time) Final: Kick off time 8.40PM, game will last 15mins Presentation: Medals and cups will be presented to both finalists at 9.00PM
U7's - U10's inclusive will be 7 a side (9 in squad) U11's - 13's inclusive will be 6 a side (8 in a squad)

STRICTLY NO Academy teams to professional or semi-pro teams are allowed in the competition.
Please note the U7’s & U8’s (as per FA rules) is NON-COMPETITIVE although 2 trophies will be given for:-
Team of the day for each age Sporting team of the day for each age
All team players in the U7’s & U8’s age groups will receive medals for taking part.

The usual Family attractions will be on show including Refreshments, Hot Food, Ice Cream, Professional on site Photographers, "Dephoto" (CRB checked) & Kiddies Inflatables

We would like to invite you to our Annual August Bank Holiday Summer Football Tournament, to be held at our home ground, on Bispham Gala Field (postcode FY5 3AG). Directions available on request.
This is the second year where we have been able to host the tournament back at our home ground following a significant investment in the drainage facilities. With our improved pitches and amenities, and our dedicated Tournament Committee, our 2009 tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The age groups used in our tournament will be the age groups for the 2009/2010 season, i.e. if your team is currently competing in the Under 9 age group, they will enter the Under 10 competition in this tournament.
On Saturday 29th August, we are holding a Family Fun Day (from 12 noon), with lots of fun filled activities, to which all of our participating teams our invited.
On Sunday 30th August, the Under 7’s and 9’s will play 7-A-Side mini soccer, whilst the Under 11’s will play 11-A-Side.
On Bank Holiday Monday 31st August, the Under 8’s and 10’s will play 7-A-Side mini soccer, whilst the Under 12’s will play 11-A-Side.
There will be a limit on the number of entries per age group, so we would urge you to ensure your application is submitted to us early, so that your place can be confirmed.
Entry fees are £35 per team or you can enter two teams into the same age group competition for £60 (cheques to be made payable to “BJFF”).
During the Fun Day and the Football Tournament itself, there will be an action packed programme of activities and entertainment, with bouncy castles, games, inflatables, hot and cold food and drinks, various other stalls, attractions and an on-site photographer, with pictures available to purchase throughout the day.
Our Application form contains further information on the structure of the tournament, an entry form and player registration forms for the 7-A-Side and 11-A-Side tournaments.
All of these forms should be completed and returned to the Tournament Coordinator, Andrew Griffiths, either by e-mail or in the post. E-mail applications received without the entry fee will be held for a maximum of 14 days.
On receipt of your entry form, registration form and entry fee, Andrew will be in touch to confirm your place in the tournament. The deadline for applications is Friday 17th July 2009.

The BJFF girls’ football tournament will take place over the weekend of Saturday 16th May and Sunday 17th May.
This year we will be running tournaments for the Under 11 and Under 13 age groups on Saturday 16th May, with the Under 14 and Under 15 age group competitions on Sunday 17th May.
Please note the age groups used in our tournament will be the age groups for the 2008/2009 season.
The tournament will be held at our home ground, on Bispham Gala Field, off Kelvin Road (postcode FY5 3AG). Directions are available on request.
There will be catering facilities on site serving hot and cold food and drinks.
The Under 11 Competition will be a 7-A-Side tournament. There will be a maximum of 12 teams in the U11 age group competition.
The Under 13 and Under 15 Competitions will be 9-A-Side tournaments. There will be a maximum of 10 teams per age group in the U13 and U15 competitions.
The Under 14 Competition will be an 11-A-Side tournament. There will be a maximum of 10 teams in the U14 age group competition.
The winners & runners up of each competition will be presented with trophies, with all finalists receiving a medal.
