A Zoho Creator application comprises of one or more forms and views. A form is used to enter records in the database. A view shows the records from one or more forms, in different formats. A simple application like a Contacts List will have just one Contact form with fields to enter the Name, Address, Email id and so on, and a view to see the contact information. A more complex application like a Project Tracker will have many forms for adding new projects, team-member details, to-do list and so on, with different views. Before you start creating an application, analyze on what you actually want your application to do and the information you want to maintain. This will make it easier for you to create an application. To create a new application in Zoho Creator, login to Zoho Creator and click on Create New Application.
The Create New Application dialog offers you various choices in creating your application, as shown in the screen-shot below. You can create your application by selecting the right choice that suits your requirement. Each option is explained in separate topics, as listed below.
