Leadership Conferences and Training Sessions: Funding for training sessions will require the organization to bring supporting documentation describing the events. Conferences and training sessions will be funded at a maximum of 50% of total cost.
Honorarium: Honorariums will be funded at a maximum of 50% of total cost.
Fundraising: 10% of total funds requested are expected to be raised by the organization.
Evaluating strength of proposal:
· Are the goals/objectives of the program/project realistic?
· What is the likelihood of success of the program/project over time?
· Given the project goals, does the budget reflect realistic expenditures?
· Is the budget accurate and clear?
· What is the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the program/project?
· What impact on the community will the program/project have?
· Is the community impact measurable? If so, does the organization have a plan in place?
· Has the organization included fundraising goals?
· How effectively has the organization used CSF in the past?
Finally, in an effort to encourage and support new programs, historically, the Committee has provided organizations making first-time requests with seed money based on the quality of their proposals and the merits of their program goals.
